Benefits of Invisalign
Consultation and Evaluation
The first step is to schedule a consultation with our Invisalign-certified provider. During your visit, we’ll take detailed impressions and images of your teeth and discuss your treatment goals.
Customized Treatment Plan
Using advanced 3D imaging technology, we will create a personalized treatment plan that shows how your teeth will move over time and what the end result will look like.
Aligner Fabrication
Once your treatment plan is designed, your custom aligners will be created using advanced technology. Each set of aligners is designed to gradually move your teeth closer to their final position.
Wearing Your Aligners
You’ll wear your aligners for 20-22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Every 1-2 weeks, you’ll switch to a new set of aligners that gently continue to move your teeth into place.
Regular Check-ins
You’ll return for periodic check-ups to monitor your progress and receive your next sets of aligners. These visits are typically every 6-8 weeks, depending on your treatment plan.

Hours
Clear aligner questions answered for patients around New Haven, CT.
In the New Haven area Invisalign typically runs $3,000 to $7,000, with simpler cases starting near $1,000 and complex ones reaching about $8,000. What drives the number is how far your teeth have to move and how many aligner trays that takes. Divine Smiles quotes your case in writing.
Minor crowding or relapse after braces can finish in about six months. Most cases run twelve to eighteen months, and bigger bite corrections take longer. You move to the next tray every one to two weeks, and wearing them twenty two hours a day is what keeps the timeline honest.
It starts with a digital scan that builds a three dimensional model of your bite. From that model a series of trays is designed, each one shaped slightly differently from the last, so every tray applies gentle pressure that walks the teeth a small step toward the planned position.
Some plans include an orthodontic benefit that applies to clear aligners, often as a lifetime dollar maximum rather than a percentage. Divine Smiles takes HUSKY Health and Medicaid as well as most major PPO plans, checks your orthodontic benefit before you start, and offers CareCredit for whatever the plan does not cover.
Aligners come out for meals and brushing, show very little, and suit adults who do not want metal at work. Fixed braces still handle severe rotations and large bite changes more predictably. Bring the question to a consultation, because the honest answer depends on what your teeth are doing.
Aligner checks are short, and Divine Smiles runs Tuesday appointments until 7pm and Sunday hours from 9am to 4pm, so most people fit them in without using vacation time. You will find us at 1574 Chapel St in downtown New Haven. Call (203) 865-1480 to book a consultation.
