Your Smile, Perfected
Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-crafted shells bonded to the front of your teeth to correct chips, gaps, discoloration, and uneven shapes in as little as two visits. Each veneer is designed to match the translucency and texture of natural enamel, so the result looks like your own smile, only better.
At Divine Smiles, veneers are planned digitally and crafted by a dental lab to your exact shade and shape. They resist staining from coffee, tea, and wine, and with good home care they commonly last ten to fifteen years or more. Whether you want to fix one tooth or transform your whole smile line, our New Haven team walks you through every option and cost before you decide.
Veneers
Veneers are thin, custom-made shells made from tooth-colored materials (such as porcelain or composite resin) that are designed to cover the front surface of your teeth. They are an excellent option for enhancing the appearance of teeth that are discolored, chipped, misaligned, or irregularly shaped.
Natural Appearance
Veneers are designed to mimic the translucency and texture of natural teeth, resulting in a seamless and lifelike smile.
Stain Resistance
Unlike natural tooth enamel, veneers are highly resistant to stains from coffee, tea, and other common culprits.
Durability
With proper care, veneers can last for many years, providing long-lasting results and enhancing your confidence in your smile.
Minimally Invasive
Compared to some other cosmetic dental procedures, the placement of veneers is relatively conservative and minimally invasive.
Veneers can Address a Variety of Dental Issues
Veneers offer versatile cosmetic benefits to improve your smile’s appearance. They effectively cover discoloration and stains that don’t respond to traditional teeth whitening treatments. For teeth that are chipped, worn down, or irregularly shaped, veneers can restore their natural size and shape. They also help close gaps between teeth, resulting in a more uniform and symmetrical look. Additionally, veneers can address minor misalignment issues by providing the appearance of straighter teeth without the need for braces or aligners. Finally, they create a smoother, more even surface for teeth that are uneven or pitted, enhancing the overall aesthetic of your smile.

Consultation & Smile Evaluation
We begin with a personalized consultation to discuss your smile goals. During this visit, we assess your teeth, review your options, and determine if veneers are right for you.
Tooth Preparation
A small amount of enamel is gently removed from the front surface of the teeth to make room for the veneers. Impressions are then taken to create your custom-fit veneers.
Custom Veneer Creation
Your veneers are carefully crafted in a dental lab to match your natural teeth in color, shape, and size. This process ensures a seamless, lifelike appearance.
Final Placement & Smile Reveal
Once ready, your veneers are bonded securely to your teeth using strong dental cement. After a final polish and bite check, you’ll leave with a beautifully transformed smile.
Your oral health and comfort are our top priorities. Whether you have a question, need to schedule an appointment, or want to learn more about our services, we’re here for you!

Porcelain veneer questions answered for New Haven, CT patients.
In the New Haven area veneers typically run $900 to $2,500 per tooth, so an eight tooth makeover across the smile line generally lands between $7,200 and $20,000. Because veneers are cosmetic, most plans do not cover them. Divine Smiles gives you a written quote and offers CareCredit financing.
Usually two. The first covers planning, shade selection, preparing the teeth, and temporaries while the lab builds your porcelain. The second is the fit and bond appointment, generally two to three weeks later. Some cases add a try in visit so you can approve the look before anything is cemented.
With good home care and regular checkups, porcelain veneers commonly last ten to fifteen years or more. They resist staining well. What shortens their life is grinding, biting fingernails or pens, and decay forming at the margin where the veneer meets the tooth. A nightguard helps if you clench.
Once veneers are bonded you eat as usual, minus the ice and pen chewing. Porcelain is strong, but treat it like natural enamel: avoid using your teeth as tools, and wear a nightguard if you clench or grind so the veneers last as long as possible.
